About Us

Grace Lutheran Church is a growing congregation that strives to meet the spiritual needs of all people.

When you visit on a Sunday morning you will find a large welcome area alive with activity. Our members and staff will cheerfully greet you and answer any questions that you have about our building, worship services, Sunday School or other activities.

Worship Services
When you worship with us you will find that the service focuses on the love of Jesus. He suffered, died and rose again so we can have new life. Our audio visual system enhances worship by projecting music, pictures and announcements.

Children

Visiting children are always welcome to attend our Sunday School program. They will enjoy Bible stories, music and crafts.

Adults
The Adult Bible Class welcomes members and visitors alike to study God’s Word in a round-table atmosphere that encourages honest questions and Bible-centered responses and devotion.

Our Mission

God first loved us by giving us the gift of eternal life through our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. Therefore, with God’s help and to His glory, we will grow in His Word so that we can share the gift of His love with all people.

We are a member of the Wisconsin Evangelical Lutheran Synod, also known as the WELS.

Our Beliefs

We Believe that:
The Bible is the totally inspired and error-free Word of God.

2 Timothy 3:16 All Scripture is God-breathed
2 Peter 1:21 For prophecy never had its origin in the will of man, but men spoke from God as they were carried along by the Holy Spirit.

The Bible is the only source and standard of faith and life for the Christian.
John 17:17 {Jesus said}, “Sanctify them by the truth; Your Word is truth.”

God created the world and everything in it, including man and woman, perfect.
Genesis 1:31 God saw all that He had made, and it was very good. And there was evening, and there was morning–the sixth day.

Mankind sinned in disobeying God. Pain, sorrow, and death came and destroyed God’s perfect world.
Romans 3:23 For all have sinned and fall short of the glory of God.

God, because He is holy and just, must punish all sin and all evil.
Romans 3:19,20 Now we know that whatever the law says, it says to those who are under the law, so that every mouth may be silenced and the whole world held accountable to God. Therefore no one will be declared righteous in His sight by observing the law; rather, through the law we become conscious of sin.

All men, women, and children need a Savior to rescue them from sin and its punishment, for all have sinned.
Romans 3:22,23 This righteousness from God comes through faith in Jesus Christ to all who believe. There is no difference, for all have sinned and fall short of the glory of God.

God so loved all people that He sent His One and only Son, Jesus Christ, to take away our sins.
John 3:16 For God so loved the world that He gave His One and only Son, that whoever believes in Him shall not perish but have eternal life.

Christ Jesus, true God and true Man, lived a perfect life and gave that perfect life on the cross in exchange for the sins of all people.

2 Corinthians 5:21 God made Him who had no sin to be sin for us, so that in Him we might become the righteousness of God.

Deliverance from sin, death, and the powers of hell becomes ours personally through the gift of faith.
Ephesians 2:8 For it is by grace you have been saved, through faith—and this not from yourselves, it is the gift of God.

Faith is given to us by the Holy Spirit and is not something we personally accomplish.
1 Corinthians 2:4 Therefore I tell you that no one who is speaking by the Spirit of God says, “Jesus be cursed,” and no one can say, “Jesus is Lord,” except by the Holy Spirit.

We are saved not by our works but solely by God’s grace – His love He freely, willingly, and gladly gives.
Ephesians 2:8,9 For it is by grace you have been saved, through faith—and this not from yourselves, it is the gift of God—not by works, so that no one can boast.

In response to God’s love for us, Christians will want to show their love to God by thanking Him with lives of service to Him and our fellow man.
Ephesians 2:10 For we are God’s workmanship, created in Christ Jesus to do good works, which God prepared in advance for us to do.
